SOURCE: Getting error code 29 on

Hi.

Error 29 is device spinning malfunction. Either motor or motor speed sensor malfunction or other mechanical problem causing spinning malfunction. Advice is to call the service number listed in Corghi documentation, this usually is no minor fault.

Here manuals for several models:

EM8040

EM8070

EM 6040

I have a 99 expedition I had the tires changed I put smaller tires on it to get rid of the mud tires now my front end shakes like it has 2 flats

more than likely there is some component damage ,linkages, tire rod ends, vibration dampener the shock looking thing under front end , connecting left to right on steering link.

99 4runner extremely bad vibrations when braking on dry road going downhill. On flat also, but not as bad.

Have you had your wheel bearings checked ? You can check them yourself if you put the wheel and tire off the ground and try to press each side of the wheel in opposite directions and the same on the top and bottom. do this with strength and try to do it fast. If it seems to have slack in it then it is probably your wheel bearing. Your tire alignment could also be out. Have you hit a curb hard or anything? The tire and wheel could also be out of balance. Try having them computer balanced at a tire shop. Sometimes tires with several miles on them will start to wobble. Sometimes the tire weights that are used to balance a tire actually come off and the tire will then be out of balance.

Vibration in front end axles look good tried new tires still there

If you jack up 1 wheel off the ground and put the car in gear , you can watch the tire spin. You might see a bent rim. The shop that mounted the tires should have seen it and warned you though.

My jeep wrangler shakes at 55 mph

lol Make sure you wash the inside of your rims after you go playing in the mud. a small amount of dried mud will make your wheel shake at a high speed. It will unbalance your wheel.

Steering wheel & inside vibration issues

Yes...That's probably a 50 or 55 series tire which by the nature of it's short sidewall will give you a "stiff" ride as compared to a more typical 70 series. Verify that the vibration does not come only when you are braking or accelerating. If you vibrate only when cruising then 95%(unofficial stat) of the time it comes from the tire/wheel/balance assembly.
