You can RESET that pin in your iphone bluetooth settings. For that go to settings menu of iphone and then bluetooth settings RESET pin for bluetooth. Mose of default pin is 0000 or #### or **** then if still not able to connect then you need to RESET bluetooth pin in iphone. Most pf pin is 0000 then if still same issue then you need to RESET iphone to defaults. For that follow below To reset the iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. Then all settings defaults then it will work with above default pin or will not ask for pin. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

I am trying to pair my My Touch 3g phone to my H680, but I cant. I previously had a h17 connected to my cell phone too but it was not paired. Now when I try to pair the 680 it tells me that it is having...

In order to pair your headset with your phone, when you turn it on for the first time, its indicator light should be steadily lit in blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. If it has been paired to another device before, make sure that that device's bluetooth radio is turned off. If the light is not steadily lit, turn your headset off, wait for some 10 seconds, and turn it on again. Anyway, whilst its light is steadily lit, make you phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode (indicator light starts flashing in blue). You see, the pairing procedure between any two bluetooth enabled devices should be performed just once. All subsequent connections between them should be achieved just by bringing they within each other's range, with their bluetooth radios turned on. At most, a simple press on the headset's call button should do.

By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.

Please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Regards, Carlos

EM227 to Iphone

You must put you headset in pairing mode, prior to trying to pair it with your phone. In order to do it, starting with it turned off, press and hold the power button for some 10 seconds, until the indicator light is alternately flashing in red and blue. It is in pairing mode now. Then, bring your phone close to it, and make its bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or passkey, or PIN) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful, your headset should enter the stand-by mode (blue light flashing every few seconds).
By the way, If its user guide happens to be missing, or, rather, you need further informations on how to pair it with your phone, feel free to download it from this location.

Carlos

Have a new motorola bluetooth h17. it pairs with the ps3 but wont connect, just error 8001000c. i even changed the audio settings to match the device and still wont connect

pairing motorola h17 with Ps3. Go to settings then to manage bluetooth scan find bluetooth (enter passcode 0000) hit triangle connect.(only first part keep reading) Now go to audio devices section under settings and change imputs to the motorola h17. If you don't go to audio devices the bluetooth wont stay connected. It will connect for like a second and stop. This drove me crazy for a day until I discover the fix. now go back to manage bluetooth and connect bluetooth and it should stay connected > you will see blue circle.

Is there a way i can get my bluetooth to work on my 3gs

Bluetooth is a universal technology, so you should be able to get your iphone and the bluetooth paired up. You will need to turn the bluetooth on on the iphone and have it search for new devices; put the bluetooth in pairing mode, usually by holding down the power button for a few seconds. You will see a request for a pin code on the iphone- it usually is either 1234 or 0000. Check with the bluetooth manual to make sure of the exact steps.
