Question about Nespresso Le Cube

Open Question

My Nespresso ?Le Cube? machine is leaking water heavily. At least ΒΌ of a longo-cup of water leaks into the pod container when I?m making a longo. The most water is coming from a small hole just above the pod container. I tried descaling the unit but this did not help. Also the procedure for removing air out of the system I followed and did not help. The unit is out of its warrantee period and Nespresso asks a fixed fee of about 120Euro?s and can not guarantee a full repair for this price. A new machine cost about 180Euro?s on the web. Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Is there a service manual on the web available so that I can try to repair the unit myself? Henri

SOURCE: After descaling le Cube two flashing buttons won't stop so can't

I had the same issue. This is what a did:
Turn off the machine
Remove the tray/container and leave it outside
Turn on the machine and this time the power button should be flashing (preheating) then hold both cup buttons for 3 sec and it will be back to normal opertion....
For some reason the sensor needs to read that the tray/container is out of the machine...

Not familiar with that brand, but most Have a tube in the fill bucket that goes into the housing over the top of the filter. Could be leaking or plugged causing the water to spill or just steam away.

Espresso and Longo buttons flash simultaneously and continuously

Try holding both buttons down while you turn the machine on until they stop flashing - usually about 5 seconds. This will reset the machine to its factory settings. Hope this helps.

Very slow water flow, barely filling tea cup

It could be a problem with an air bubble or with scale deposits.

It is recommended that you first run a descaling cycle using the proper descaling product. Do not use vinegar as it can damage your machine. Information on descaling can be found here:
