No, your motherboard lacks the PCI-x16 interface slot to be able to facilitate this card.

My geforce 6600 wont give a signal when used with this mobo, why?

Open you're manual to page 2-22. Make sure, Booting Graphic Adapter Priority is set to:
[PCI Express/Int-VGA]. Save and exit the bios. You're system will auto reboot. When you're screen goes black, press and hold the power on button until you're system shuts off. Install the 6600 video card. Double check the 6600 card. Most PCI-E cards need additional power connected to it to run.
If you need the manual you can open the link provided; http://dlcdnas.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5GD1-VM/e1881_p5gd1-vm.pdf

Hope you find this helpful!

First, If your computer have no display, check the connections between the monitor and to the vga port. If you are having a hard time about the driver for it, use the motherboard cd support to install the vga driver. Please post a comment for further assistance. okay..:-)

Asus mainboard p5gd1 - fm/s motherboard, giving bios fault d0 or d4 Need ot know the bios type and codes list

Are you by chance using a mainboard diagnostic card? Asus use beep codes to indicate different bios issues. I'm almost certain it is the Award Bios used on their boards.
