Question about Televison & Video

I have 65" toshiba cinema series tv.Can i check the connections on the rsmote sensor and reset it by myself or should i call a tv technician.

There is no reset for remote sensor.If found faulty, needs to be replaced.A technician is recommended.

Check the settings on the wifi portion of the television. If you have a cat5 connection try using that to connnect to internet. If you still have the problem, activate the factory reset process on the television and then use setup again. Then try the update.

if a large rear projection set that just says HD, it likely is HD ready which means it needs a set top box connected to the Colorstream input marked 1080 on the rear of the set--It will only likely be 1080i and not p---owner manual would confirm this.

rabbit ears wont work on any tv anymore,you need a converter box,its all digital now,call your local cable company,they did this a few months back(government).

if you got all the lead you should have fibre optics which connects from dvd to tv and then set your dvd to digi in. you should get the sound. i have same cinema system and i have done the same

Home cinema/Viera link problem


Turn everything off and disconnect from mains.
Wait a few minutes.
Disconnect HDMI cable.
Turn on TV and DVD.
Connect cable.
If this does not work use a cable of different spec.
I had the same problem and now mine works .

your problem is in the high voltage circuit.change your flyback it has a short.also check around for open diode in the same circuit.good luck
