Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with the first thing you should do is to remove the lint filter and clean the lint out of inside where the lint screen goes. After this unplug the unit for 5-10 minutes and then push & hold the start/pause button for 10-15 seconds and reconnect the unit. If still it won’t work then it’s the sensor that has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

How to Fix Dryer Lint Problems

<span>Instructions</span> Things You'll Need: <ul> <li> <span>Vacuum cleaner</span> </li> <li> <span>Screwdriver</span> </li> <li> <span>Electric leaf blower</span> </li></ul> <ol> <li> Remove the lint trap from the dryer and peel off the accumulated fuzz.<br /> </li> <li> Vacuum the top of the dryer, the floor nearby and underneath for lint at least once a week. When you remove the lint trap, tiny particles fly into the air and settle nearby. Behind and underneath the dryer are favorite hiding places for dryer lint.<br /> </li> <li> Disconnect the vent tube from the rear of the dryer and inspect it every month. Dryer lint accumulates more easily in flexible plastic tubes than rigid aluminum ones, because curves halt the lint's path.<br /> </li> <li> Clean the vent tube leading to the wall annually. As for the tube leading to the exterior, a trick that sometimes works is aiming an electric leaf blower down the tube. The leaf blower can expel the lint through the exhaust on the exterior. Before using the leaf blower, check that all duct work is fastened securely.<br /> </li> <li> Unscrew and remove the back panel on the dryer, if you're mechanically inclined. Particles that escaped the lint trap can accumulate inside the dryer cabinet, so vacuum this area.<br /> </li></ol>

Does not Dry. Appears to have low air flow.

most of the problems associated with this problem are caused by lint being in vent tube to outside and restricting the air flow. clean out vent tube, from dryer to outside. this should help. repost if need be. good-day ! if you have too. clean out bottom of drier with a vacuum. around the fan and where theres lint trapped.

Dryer shuts off on E-1 code..Lint trap has been cleaned as well as vent hose and vent riser to outside.

Check for brisk air flow at outlet of vent hose (hose disconnected). If weak, remove lint screen and retry. If now has brisk flow, clean screen in hot water and detergent.

Lint fell down the lint trap. How do I get it

Luckily, dryers are light. Best thing to do is pull it out until you can remove the back cover. (unplug it first) Then vacuum and clean all the dust and lint you can. This should be a yearly thing at least anyway. Replace the back plug it in and slid it back. I do mine every 6 months or so.

Odor around the lint trap, cleaned but persists

The lint trap is an opening into the dryer vent and vent pipe. The dryer needs to be pulled out from the wall, the vent pipe disconnected and then the back of the dryer and the entire pipe cleaned of lint and other debris. this is the only way to get rid of the odor.

Lint filter sensor with Error Code: 01 constantly comes on after the dryer is in use for 5minutes or less. Screen is clean, vent from back of dryer to 3ft of flex hose to outside wall is spotless.

Sounds as though the sensor is dirty of faulty. I would recommend having a service tech out to check and replace. Also if the sensor is going bad, it may be tripping it due to the excessive heat.
