This is cause by deletion or correption of System files (In most cases VIRUSES), Try to reinstall Operating System from authorised service centre or you can do it (Risky)

You can format and reinstall OS(xp,vista, win 7,linux) .
Restart computer when booting goes on press F5 Or DEL key to goto bios setup menu change boot order to first cd drive then hdd
PressF10 and press Y and enter.
computer will restart
Insert Xp cd.
Press enter to boot from cd
Follow the instructions
Then your problem will solve.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My laptop dell inspiron N5010 not get log on

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

Laptop frozen on logging off mode, can't access anything

Have you tried starting in safe mode to see if it will boot that way? In case your not sure how turn the computer off then when off hit power on and just start pressing F8 over and over until you get the black screen asking about safe mode. You might hear some beeping while doing it dont worry about that. Choose start in safe mode with networking.Quick question is there any reason the lapshows the screen of windows starting vertically like that instead of the normal horizontal way from left to right? Just curious if you did that or thats new too.

I have forgotten the password appearing on the front screen on switching on the lap top. its HCL K 28 Notebook . help

Hi there

You can bypass the password by restarting your notebook and hold pressing F8 and screen comes up choose the safe mode and when the screen comes up for the log in choose administrator, in that case you can use temporary profile and after that you can reset your password in your old profile by uing your new profile now.

let me know....

My lap top crashes all i get is a black screen, I don't have a disk to reinstall windows XP

When you power on the laptop, press the F8 key several times. A screen should come up asking you to choose an option.
Options should include safe mode and repair your computer. If repair your computer is an option, select that by using the arrow keys and press enter. This may fix your issue.

To start your computer normally you must choose either of that options but the only thing you must choose is the start windows normally so that all the settings from the previous working settings will be applied in your windows start up.

I have a dell inspiron lap top with window's vista. There is a problem with it. Even when I turn it on with safe mode it goes to the log in screen, then says welcome, and then it goes to a black screen...

Usually what happens with my Dell Inspiron desktop, even on safe mode it goes to the logon screen. I have never experienced that with my Dell Inspiron 1318. When you log in and it shows you the black screen, try pressing the function buttons. Try F8 or F12. You should be able to start the computer in Safe Mode. If possible, enter Safe Mode with Networking so that you are able to search the web. If you don't mind me asking, why is it that you need safe mode? Is it a virus?

Safe mode has a limited access only. Meaning, you cannont change settings from control panel or some application unless you are log in to Windows as Administrator and not in Safe mode.
