Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Computer is not recognising camera when plugged

Try with a different cable.
Try and find the camera in the file manager.
Try a different computer. You might need a picture programme

Wont connect from lg pc suite

Happened to me a few times. Try restarting your computer but leaving it plugged in so your computer already recognises what it is.

If you plug it in your computer takes 10 minutes or so figuring out what it is and whether you need to download anything additional for it to work. If you restart your computer by the time you click LG PC Suite it will have already recognised what it is and will work. If your computer has wireless settings you could try connection through bluetooth!

Cant download images

I would recommend getting a card reader, remove your memory card from your camera and insert it into the card reader, connect the card reader into your computer via the USB port and download using Picasa3 which is free software from Google. Simple, fast and works for any camera

My computer wont recognise my FinePix A610 camera

Suggest that you go tp my computer as the answer above has suggested and attempt to open drive(memory chip) in the camera and download. If not suggest removing the memory chip from the camera and try accessing via Walmart or other stores photo Kiosk.

Suggest opening Fin-pix first before connecting camera.

Through fine-pix search for camera as if it was an external drive. Hope this helps?

Trying to transfer but not being recognised

You don't need a driver.

The best way to transfer pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB).

Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
