It should carry everything over including music and profiles. If you put 200 hrs on Bethesda's Oblivion, when you transfer your data to the newer bigger H/D, it will be there. You may be thinking of recovering a gamertag on somebody else's console where it is ultimately recovering your profile. Hope this helps, it copies everything, I know this from personal experience, the only mistake I make was putting 50 hrs of fallout on my new h/d, and when I transfered the 20G info to the new 60G, it wipes the 60G and transfer's, not like a thumb drive where it would have added files. so if anything is on the receiving h/d, the it will be erased.

Computer won't recognize external usb hard drive

try it on another computer if that dosent work you should
reformat your computer but first backup all your data by putting your another internal hardrive on your computer and move all your files you need to the empty hardrive and after that take the hardrive with all your stuff in it off the computer and then reformat the hardrive which the external hardrive does not work on and install a new operating system then put the other hardrive with all your stuff back on your computer and transfer your stuff into the hardrive with a operating system then try the external hardrive

OR
you can burn all your stuff into a CD or a DVD
OR
you can put all your stuff into FlashDrives and then after you reformat the hardrive with an operating system put your stuff back into the computer and after that the external hardrive should work

The computer ask for product key..... i bought a new laptop and the sales rep says ms office is already saved on my computer..

You need to tell the sales rep that you need the product installation code for MS Office 2007 and it was part of the package you purchased.
Ask for the installation MS Office CD the documentation and the product installation code, as well as the Windows installation CD and product installation code.
You will need these if you have to install these onto a new hard disk.

How can i install new microsoft office here at my laptop acer

Why do you want to install MS Office, unless you have one for yourself.I f you do have your copy of the package then insert the CD into the drive and let go. Just answer a few questions and You are done. Yes, it will ask for the unique serial number which you will have to provide. If you do not have the CD or the serial number then follow the link below to download another office suite free and install it on your PC/laptop. It is free and fully compatible with MS Office. And as powerful. Or if you have an unlimited usage internet connection then use that to use the office suites available on the net free. You cant download them but work with them online and also save the documents online. This will save you the disk space and also be very safe from viral attacks etc. Take your choice.

I have had my xbox for 1 year now after reading some of the ERROR CODE E68 probs i know my hardrive is broken because my bag split when moving it but how do i transfer whats on my hardrive to another 1...

Because your hard drive is damaged your best bet is to recover your gamertag onto the new one, on your profile page the end one says recover gamertag click on this, enter your gamertag, you will then need your e-mail address that you created your account with, then you need your password, this will recover your gamertag onto your new hard drive, it also transfers any ms points and your gold membership.
Hope this helps.

Iomega desktop hard drive doesnt connect to computer

Your pc is generally configured to save all stuff to C drive as its default. You could then cut and past it into your new drive or when you are downloading specify the drive letter of you 1tb drive to save to. If you do not do this it is normal for it to save to C drive-that is also what mine does. I doubt anything is wrong-it is just the default drive. It soulnds like it is connected-copy and paste something onto it to test it(dont cut and paste at this point as you need to be certain it works. When you have done this,, open up whatever you copied onto it and ensure it is ok.

Games got deleted off my hardrive

Hmm, the microsoft points don't seem related. This could've been caused by two things, one is the downloads overwrote what you had saved (unlikely, but its an Xbox, you never know :P), the second is somebody deleted the saves (small children or terrible people), or the third is that you have multiple profiles and you are signed on a second one. Other than those reasons I have no idea. Hope that helps!

Help

Most download type programs have a download button that when pressed starts the download.
A screen will pop up asking "what do you want to do" or similar
choose "Save" and choose the directory to save it to
I could write 3 pages of Instructions of HOW TO.
But follow the above instructions and read what each screen says and you should be OK.

Your Elite should of came with a transfer kit. If it didn't call 18004myxbox and they will send you one for free. You should be able to move all of your files from your old HD to the new one, then your DL content should work fine.
