I took your advice I unpluged the unit then held the power button in then pluged it back into power outlet the unit came on. There is one thing I might add I had to do it twice before the unit came on. Now how long will it work? Who knows

this is the amp IC and while unplugging and plugging it in again helps reset the IC for a little while , it will eventually completely quit and will need replaced
make sure that none of the speaker wires(bare wires) are touching or look like they might be where they are connected at
also if turning up the volume makes it cut out or sound bad then this will also indicate a bad amp IC

MOst likely a component connection that opens" no circuit" when heated then "might" connect again at some future date..Maybe at the return of Jesus or something.
It's not something that a consumer can fix.
Take it to a tv /stereo repair shop and have them look for bad solder joints in the amplifier section

I have the same problem. In my case, the problem was the transistor that command the relay that supply the main transformer. You can find it in the power supply board, near of the relay.

ok it can be happen something wrong with its power supply ,standby circuit, system control cct problem, or loose connection on the printed board and loose connection on the connector in the pcb can happen.
some times it can be the power on off switch. anyway open the cower and clean it with compressed air or clean it with small brush then try to turn on again and please comeback with result.
