How do I tell if this card is wireless?

Ethernet Card adapter is a wired adapter but you can always check for wireless adapters.Go to device manager by right clicking on my computer->properties->Hardware->Device Manager. In device manager click the + sign at network adapters and check if it is written wireless under that then you have a wireless adapter.

Wireless connection disapeared from computer

Hello!

I am not sure exactly where you are checking for Wireless connections.

Anyhow, now a days we are hearing many Wireless adapter missing from Device manager issues.

Please get back to us with the Brand name of your laptop, OS installed.

Also check in Device manager for Wireless adapter.

Please follow these steps to open Device Manager:

1. Right Click on 'My Computer' icon on Desktop and choose Properties.
2. The System properties Window opens.
3. Click Hardware tab and then click the Device Manager button.

Expand + Network adapter and check if the Wireless adapter is listed there or not.

If it is not listed there, then the issue is with the Wireless adapter itself.

This is most comon issue in HP COMPAQ notebooks.

if you are not aware of the Wireless adapter under + Network adapters in Device manager, then get back to us with the complete information under + Network adapter.

So thatI can help you in better way
