Its normal with Kids computer . Any how just go to control panel ( After Start Menu ).
Then you will see ADD HARDWARE , Click that and search new Hardware ( CD ROM ) .
Hopefully it will find AUTO . after that let computer chose driver's .

That's all you have to do , If cant , reply me i will .

Restore ur hardware and software configuration then try installation again

Yes, most likly. You can restore your pc to an eralier time to try and get around the bad registry information. Click START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS> system restore. Also you can shout down and plugout your system, disconnect the malfunctioning drives and restart your system. The go to deivice manager and scan for hardware changes, shut down, reconnect drives and restart.

If that does not work you should also try to install burning software like nero etc and see if you have the same problem. Dont forget that your drives have internal software called firmware, you should make sure that a new release is available for you.

It's hard to tell what you're asking. If you want to know if you can install Mac OS on your Acer keep in mind that is technically a EULA violation at the very least and possibly unethical. Having said that some combination of your acer model with the term mac os will probably tell you definitively if it's possible.

I would encourage you to actually buy Mac hardware though. You'll have a much better experience with Mac OS.

resetart the laptop and choose "Debugging mode". This will show the list of files that loads during the initial boot up and OS starting. Reply with the last file listed before the BSOD.

If the BSOD occurs after the logging, list where it occurs (during the "Starting Windows XP window" or "after the desktop appears but no desktop icons".

Also, provide what OS is on the laptop.

Did this occur after an OS update was installed? There's some history of dropped connections due to Mac updates...Check the Dlink site for firmware upgrades for your router, and install them, and see if that fixes it...
