Question about Microsoft Train Simulator 1.0 for Windows
When I try to open the game it pops up saying a required item wasn't installed in the installation and that you might have to reinstall the game.
I reinstalled the game and it did it again.
Here is the exact text it brings up and I reinstalled it, but it still didn't fix it, and idea what could be the problem.
"Failed to locate a required file in your installation. You may need to re-install Train Simulator.'
Hmmm.... There might be a flaw in the disc somewhere (scratch or dust or something) that is preventing it from copying the file required. Try reinstalling after cleaning (and maybe resurfacing) your disc. If the problem persists, then you may have gotten a faulty disc that doesn't HAVE the file required on it (This is rare, but happens from time to time and is just bad luck). If this is the case you will have to acquire a new copy of the game.
