Nermine,
The program you were deleting, wasn't windows right.
Try this.
remove battery and power supply. that should turn off your unit.
put them back in... and press F8 as it is booting..
This is SAFE Mode in windows. If you boot up in that mode.. then try rebooting and boot normally.

How can I stop auto shut down?

Do you block the air flow in any way? I use a metal laptop stand that I can elevate the back of the laptop. The surface the lap top rests on is wire mesh so there is no reduction in airflow. Never had a problem with it.

Picture on my lap top screen keeps dropping down, when i am playing games..can I stop this.

You might wanna terminate the process that causes that picture to drop down frequently.

Goto : Start > Run
Type : msconfig
Press : Enter

Now you should see the System Configuration Utility.
From here, open the "startup" tab and disable any possible/unwanted program that you think is causing trouble.
Restart your computer & Voila!

#Alternative
Press : Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open Task Manager
Under the processes tab, find the process (if you've identified) it and click on "End Process"

Tip : Window Title is shown on the right side of the process.

When printing, sentences over lap so the document is unreadable. Also it may only print the first line of a document.

Hi,

I've seen word documents do this sometimes and fixing it has worked differently each time.

1) Open the document and press CTRL + A (select all) on the keyboard and then CTRL + C (copy), then start a new document and press CTRL + V (paste). Save the new document as something different and try printing again.

2) Open the document again and select all and copy again, but this time open wordpad (a different program to Microsoft Word) by going to Start > Programs > Accessories > Wordpad, and paste the text into wordpad. This may change some of the formatting. Now, select all again, and copy, and start a new word document and paste.

Copying the text out of word and back in seems to work more often. Sometimes the best program to copy out to is notepad, but you lose pretty much all of the formatting when you copy back into word.

3) If this doesn't work, you could try to update your printer drivers, and if that doesn't work, as a last resort, you can delete the printer and create it again via the Control Panel > Printers.

When I push the power button to power the lap top up the light display that says outlet power changes from green to amber and the laptop will not power up.

try removing the battery and just use plug power only if it boots normally then change the battery and the change the power supply unit as well I would just start with the power supply unit first then see if the battery charges up if not the battery is bad replace it. Now if the computer will not start with the battery removed then you have a power supply issue.
Change and replace it. Hope this helps. Also when computer lap top get hot they will shut down to protect the computer wait and let it cool down then try to restart your computer. If this does work and the lap top restarts normally get a fan cooler that is USB powered and the lap top sits on top of it. Also make sure the fan is running and is not stopped. Clean and dust it out once in awhile. I hope this assists you with your problem. John

How do I reboot vista laptop in order to remove radial point

a reboot is always a last resort!!! a better option to remove a program is to access control manager by pressing ctrl, atl, delete at the same time. when the prompt window is opened look through both processes and services tabs for anything related to the program hit stop process then just go to start>control panel>add/remove program. if that doesnt work restart your computer in safe-mode. if its a vista hit the power button let it rest for a sec then restart it. since the computer was improperly shut down it will ask if you want to start windows normally. don't instead choose start in safe-mode when it starts everything related to radial point will be shut down making it easy to remove the program through control panel. if you still whish to reboot shut down your computer by opening the start menu and in the lower right corner select restart. when the comp. restarts and the logo appears hit f8 quickly (you only have about 5 seconds before it restarts normally) choose boot with disk insert your start up disk and the computer will restart and all non-default programs will be lost. radial point will finally be defeated but at what cause? at what cause!!!??

Pc logs off after 15 mins

Your lap top is either over heating or you have some power/hibernating options set up. If your lap top get really hot, then it's overheating issue and you will need to get it cleaned out.

If it's power options: Click Start > Control Panel > Power Options and set your options to Presentation mode.

Let me know if you have any questions.
