Have just changed to Windows 7 and cannot download pictures from my optio330

You might have to install the camera's drivers to your Windows 7. If your camera came with a disc to do so, use that to re install it. I saw another question and they included some information about being told that camera is not supported by Windows 7.

I have an Olympus fe-140 running on windows XP. I'm buying a Windows 7. How do I run my camera on Windows 7? I do not have the CD-ROM that came with camera. Thanks, Ted Wallace tcw2@midmaine.com

Hi tcw2,

After you have Windows 7 Installed, you can surely plug in your camera into your Computer with no problem. Windows 7 should be able to detect the camera without any additional software.
this means you can transfer images into your computer using the built in windows 7 device manager which will pop up after you have plugged in your camera.

i hope this helps, good luck!

My dell ispiron 1564 cannot read my sony dcr-hc15e. I use windows 7. moetik@gmail.com

See this webpage for solution:
http://www.codewrecks.com/blog/index.php/2009/05/24/windows-7-rc-acquisition-from-dv-camera/

you need to install windows live movie maker and windows live photo gallery, you can download the live installer and install them both. Then you must open photo gallery ( in windows 7 the DV acquisition module is in photo gallery), go to the file menu and then, import from a camera or scanner.

I can not install under windows 7

Unfortunately, Logitech has chosen not to support this camera under Windows Vista or Windows 7. Thus there are no current drivers for Win7. There is a way to install your camera if you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate: install the XP mode (a virtual computer). Install the camera to the virtual computer. You may need to save the files to an external media to share them between the two "machines".

I hope this helps.

My sony digital video camera Model DCR-TRV19E is not compatible for Windows 7. What shall i do?

Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(make your program/application run with windows 7)

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))

Canon PowerShot S3 IS & Windows 7

This is correct. The S3 is discovered by windows 7 and will allow download of pictures by Windows Picture download. The Canon Utilities software - Zoombrowser - will not work with windows 7 as the software cannot detect the Camera via Windows 7.. Also, Camera window will not start, if using the PC/laptop for remote image recording. If you virtualise XP within Windows 7 this still will not work. The only solution at the moment, if you are deperate, like I was (as I use the Remote Capture process a lot), is to either stick with Win Xp or Dual boot XP on a smaller partition.

Download the drivers from your camera manufactor website. The camera may not support windows 7. I am finding out that windows 7 is going to be like windows vista on drivers.
