To recalibrate you're Wii Mote put it on a flat table with it's button side on the table, leave it that way for 10sec.

Adjust de light sensitivety of the sensorbar in the Wii settings, in very light rooms the sensorbar will pick up the the light in stead of the Wii mote if settetup to sensitive.

Try also if all of this does'nt work new battery's for your Wii Mote other wise contact Nintendo.

What's the average ball speed?

The average ball speed for a bowling is about 10 miles per hour to15 miles per hour with professional bowlers averaging about 20 to 25 miles perhour, the power of the throw depends on the bowling game type you're playingand your physical strength. You can improve your throwing speed by practicingyour throws and strengthening you forearm.

Pitching Tips

Hold A and B buttons to throw a 'splitter' ball. This ball is difficult to hit and strikes out people because it's aimed at their feet.

How To Throw A Strike-Out Pitch:

Hold down the 2 button, and the left or right button (not at the same time) to throw a strike-out ball. For instance, if you hold down the 2 button, the pitch will be low and harder for the batter to hit.

How To Get A Red Bat:

Hold the A, 1, and 2 buttons while the screen is loading, and your bat will turn red.

How To Pitch Underhand:

Hold down the 2 button to throw an underhand ball. Switch back to pitching overhand by pressing the 1 button.

Can ball speed in Wii bowling vary from console/remote to another

Absolutely, every machine has slight differences, it maybe the setup and orientation of the sensor bar or maybe his carpet is a little more fluffy effecting the way you stand. Who knows? You have to expect that not every Wii will "feel" exactly the same every time.

Good luck, and have fun.

Unable to bowl or throw with the remote

It's possible your tilt sensors are stuck in the controller. Turn the controller upside down (buttons down) and slap it against the palm of your hand. This is the easiest way to unstick those springs. Good luck!

Wii remote error

The accelerometers are stuck. Hold the controller so you can smack it on the palm of your free hand. Smack on the palm of your hand with the same force and quickness as you would a fly swatter. This will free the accelorometer. The accelorometer gets locked up when you swing to hard. Also try changing your batteries.
