I'm sorry you have listed this product as a KODAK brand.
I understand you have a Samsung. I suggest you re-submit your question again under Samsung in order for a Samsung expert to look at your question.

Yes. You may be able to get them back. HOWEVER, DO NOT TAKE ANY MORE PICTURES. You can search the internet for a photo recovery program. Some are free to try and some may cost you about $30.00. If you take pictures after you formatted your card then you risk not being able to recover all or some of the pictures. The gear inside the lens is stuck, maybe some grit or sand got in there preventing it from operating.
