Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Tip

To protect pirated xp/vista/window7 from microsoft windows genuine checker.

solution is---> **** Never Update Windows*****.

That is, set you windows update off if u r online user.
Remember, if u visit any portion of Microsoft website, then sometime (not always) your windows update will be set ON automatically.

So avoid visiting Microsoft websites. In case you visit, then never forget to check and turn off windows update off after visiting it.

***************************most important step:**********************************
go to:
Control Panel-->Administrative Tools-->Services
then find following service in the list named: "Windows Update"

double click to open properties. then from drop down list select the Start-up type: "Disable" (mostly recommended).

if you do not want to keep is "disabled" then you may choose "Manual".

Manual Start-up type is recommended if you are using Microsoft Security Essential Antivirus. Bcoz to update it Successfully the Windows update service must either Automatic or Manual. otherwise the update of Microsoft Antivirus gets fail.

How can I download the update software

Hi there,

Yes, there is now a Service Pack 3 available.

Click on your START menu, and you should see a "Windows Update" icon (within the Start Menu).

Click the Windows Update icon and this will open a new browser, taking you to the Microsoft Update website.

From there, you will be able to follow the instructions and the site will search your pc for the appropriate updates. Click on the 'recommended' updates, which should install SP3 for you.

Good luck...

YOu need to update your DirectX. If still the problem exists then use a system utility software to repair your windows corrupt files, registry files and fix different operating system errors. I would recommend you to use system utility software RegInOut. Hope it works for you.

Windows update not working

You have a virus thats called rougue security. To remove this virus, you need to download and run a GOOD antivirus and malware scanner. I recommend Panda Security (they have a trial version 30 works great).

Can't recognize new nvida video card and ram automatic updates dont work error message 0x8DDD0007

Found this solution, may apply to you:

Thanks to a gentleman by the name of Igor Franchuk, he has found the
fix to this problem, and it so easy, it makes me mad.

Here is what we sent to me:

" I've encountered the same problem as you did today. When searching
the
Internet for the same error in hope for a ready solution in
some discussion forum I surfed over quite a few responses and none
of them were solutions.

After giving up I came up with a solution of our problem. It seems
like there was actually a mistake in the previous versions of
windows update.

After disassembling wuweb.dll that is responsible for webControl
update ActiveX object that is actually handling web based updates
I discovered the place where reboot required message is generated.
After looking in around the code I found that the condition
the message is generated is the presence or absence of

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired

key.

If the key exists - the message is generated by that brand new v5
update and it fails to work further causing [Error number:
0x8DDD0007].

I assume this key was set up in my registry long ago by the when the
old automatic
update (taskbar version) was uploading a new software and failing to
install it.

The solution then is simple remove the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired

so there would be only

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update

key without RebootRequired entry.

REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto
Update\RebootRequired]

After I removed the key RebootRequired v5 update started to work
happily, and installed a new version of wuauclt.exe
"

It worked for me wonderfully, and I feel a lot better about sp2. Hope
this helps those in need!

Issues after uninstalling microsoft office

There might be a possible malware/virus infection, scan your system with a good anti-malware software (I would recommend Quick Heal total security with latest updates), then try cleaning the registry using ccleaner (freeware) or any good registry cleaner software, Try installing Ms Office again and check if you can access your files.
