Most probably you have either a bad water pressure/level switch, a pressure hose that has detached, a clogged pressure hose or a combination of any or all of the above.  the machine is not being told that the machine is full...

Why won't lp 125 shut off after you turn off faucet continues to burn then backflows hot water through cold supply line and melts it then pressures up and blows line

It sounds like there is too much pressure in the hot water pipes. You can try adjusting the pressure. Do it a little at a time to see how much hot water is coming out. The only other thing I can think of is that there is a large delay between the switch and the water flow. meaning you will need to stop the water a while before you actually want the water to stop flowing.

Fills with water and then stops and beeps and won;t continue. The hot and cold water buttons are flashing. Waterr starts trickling in and it is slowly spinning but doesn't seem to agitate

Hi just read your posting. The 2 lights that are flashing means your machine has not detected any water level difference.1st turn off both hot and cold taps and 1st remove the cold inlet hose from the machine end,Put the end of the hose into a bucket and turn the tap on.You should get a good flow of water. If you do not get a good flow of water then remove the tap end of the hose and see if you are getting water out of the tap.Check the inlet filters on both ends of the hose to see if they are blocked. If they are blocked clean them with a brush.Check also the water valve end where the hose connected to the machine to see if this filter is blocked. Once you have water coming out of the hose and all the filters are clean refit the hose and repeat to the hot hose. Now select a cycle and push start. If the water flow is good then the machine will work properly. If you still get slow water even when you have good pressure coming out of the hoses then your water valves are faulty. Please reply on how you got on and for further advice.looking forward to your reply.

No water is getting into the machine

hi from uk assuming you have checked the stop taps are turned on ? there is electrical supply to machine? check plug fuse ? machine req's electric to function the inlet valves hot/cold at the rear of machine where the hoses fit to valves if all ok above? then turn off the supply hoses where they connect to house hot/cold supplys (under sink?) then disconnect hoses from stop valves then with a suitable bowl/bucket undrneath each stop tap slowly turn each one on a little to see if water is flowing ? if so? reconnect hoses if your stop valves are not allowing water flow ? you will have to check the stop valves for operation and possible blockage ? follow the above checks as suggested in order and come back with any info or success ? or if you req further d i y help best wishes

Cold water flow restricted on model LA8800AL

Check the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the water inlet valve. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris. (Especially the cold water side) Check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter and testing continuity. A lack of continuity will mean a bad solenoid. I'll attach a photo for reference. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

It was stopping at rinse. Now it doesn't start.

Check for a cold water supply problem since cold water is what's used in the rinse cycle. I would check the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine and turn off the water. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small metal screens inside the openings on the valve. Make sure they are clear of rust or debris and that they permit water flow and are not clogged up. Next, check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity will mean a bad solenoid and the assembly will need replaced. I'll attach a photo for reference. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Slow cold water flow won't go back to full flow

I think the water inlet valve is nearly stopped up with sediment in the screen filter where the supply hose screws to the valve.Cut the water off at the hose and disconnect and look for the screen. The hot water usually doensn't do this because the water has time to settle everything out while it's in the hot water heater.

I only have hot water going into the machine on all the settings.

You need to verify that the cold water is actually flowing through the cold/hot water shut off valve at the wall/floor first. If you are getting water flow at the supply side of the house, it is likely that the washing machine has a defective water inlet valve.

It is possible that it is a very simple problem to fix, such as a wiring plug not connected to the cold water inlet valve (solinoid), but since this is a new machine, you should have the issue handled with the warranty service. If this was a used machine you purchased, then by all means do some investigation to see if you can locate the issue.

Start with the basics by making sure the water is actually getting through the house supply valve and through the washer hoses. By the way, you should change supply hoses whenever you get a new machine, since a broken hose can easily cause extensive damage should it fail. Most manufacturers are now recommending that owners replace their washer supply hoses every 5 years.

OK, if the water is flowing throught the valve and hose, and when you reconnect the hose to the washer and turn it on and you aren't getting any water into the machine, if you hear a humming sound, then the valve is likely getting power but could be defective or has failed. There is no "flap" only a solinoid that cycles a piston back and forth to either let let water flow into the machine or shut the water supply off. Other than that, there shouldn't be anything else preventing the water from getting into the tub.
