Computer slow?

-- clean system junk
-- optimize computer services
-- repair registry
-- defrag registry
-- clear browsers junk

You can do all this using some reliable software such as PC Fresher.

If you are using windows machine, go to start->run and type cleanmgr.exe and follow the instructions to clean up the junk and temporary files in your machine.
Also go to start->run and type msconfig and go to Startup tab and remove all the unnecessary startup items.
Also uninstall unwanted programs/applications from control panel (start->controlpanel) and go to add or remove programs / Programs and features based on your operating system version.
Now you can clean up your registry values using http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/ or some other software available in the market.
Once you have done this if you know you have many unused useless files in your machine remove then and do a fresh restart. Then defrag your drives using the utility available in windows (go to my computer and right click on the drive you need to defragment and then click on the properties in the pop down menu. Once you are in properties window go to tools tab and click on defragment now). After the defragmenting is complete you can restart your machine again and you will notice a significant performance boost.
However if after doing all these your machine is still slow. Then you have to consider upgrading your Ram and sometimes even the hard disk.
You need at-least 1 GB of Ram to work well with normal applications and if you are into the multimedia applications like photoshop and if you are into gaming you need at-least 2 GB Ram and a graphics card.
You need to replace the hard disk only if it is under 7200 RPM. Lower rotations per minute means slower performance so in such cases going for a 7200 or 10000 Rpm drives can boost your performance.
Hope this will help you.
Best Regards NextDoorNerd

Slow response from on switch

If the computer is slow to boot up, there are several factors to take into account. The RAM could be going bad. The hard drive may be going bad. There could just simply be too much "junk" on the computer and it may just need defragmented and cleaned out.

Acer extenza 5620z mouse not responding as it should keyboard input slow and not responsive cannot input all digits of my password to get computer started

How long since you've run the computer? Might it be processing and update like when it reboots after installing a service pack? That might be making the computer run slow for a few minutes. Give it a little time to get started and see if your mouse and keyboard begin to work.

Code: P0133 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1

is this a 4 or 6 cylinder?
if a 4 cylinder it will only have 2 o2 sensors
V6 will have 4 o2 senors which the sensor will be the right side of the engine first sensor.
1st sensor on exhaust, I recommend if you change one change all, as this will make the computer when it rechecks the system you have all clean/fast responding sensors.

if you have a slow response it means the sensor is dirty and not reading well, which is usually caused by minor misfires that the engine computer dismisses, so a tune up would be recommended too.

I have somes REV. problem. When I check whit the scanner throw me 2 codes: P1133 / P0325. Its a Outback S/W 2000 2.5l.Thanks for everything.

Off hand sounds like the wires. The first is the O2 sensor getting slow response. The other is your knock sensor. If the wires are in bad shape or coroded conection on the knock sensor this will confuse the computer and change timing and idle to correct it until it gets a good reading from knock sensor. This also slows the response to the exhaust system giving the sensor a slow or poor reading of exhaust gases. Hope this helps and have a good day.

Windows XP SP2 Slow printer driver response

hey,

Well, maybe you already have tryed this: uninstall all printer drivers, and reinstalled xp sp2? Or other updates for your operating system.

Also check you system ressouces: RAM usage, cpu usage

On my new vista computer, system is a little slow in general , so if you run vista on a old computer, that might be the problem.
