Try uninstall the printer drivers and download then install the latest version. This blank paper printing with random "symbols" are caused by incompatible drivers.
When you removed the jammed paper , the jam paper sensor was not reset or positioned correctly.
The reason the machine was sending two pieces of paper thru at once was probably due to the paper
feed sensor. A lot of H'Ps do this. Try re-aligning the tray and if you pulled the paper out and heard a grinding noise, the whole feed unit is probably out of time.I would only re-install the
