It wont turn on

My Sony ZS-D55 all over sudden stopped working. It shows that it is connected to the power (those lines show up on the display when plugged in) but thats pretty much it. it doesn't respond at all. I tried it with batteries but it was the same thing, it showed that it had power but it wouldn't turn on.
Any idea what this might be and how to fix it?
