Most likely it's not Power 2 Go causing your problem. It's your cd rewriter that may need a firmware update. Generally your rom drive will become out dated and not be able to encode data correctly, because the coding is no longer supported.
Here is the link to update the firmware, but you need to make sure you have the correct firmware selected before you install it.
