Stopwatch of the watch goes to wrong places when reset.

There is normally a calibration position. Try pulling out the center crown and pay with the upper and lower pushers. Do that with the two positions. You can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVQFjeLYfpI

What are the three little faces for? do not have instructions

Your watch is a chronograph or a watch that includes a stopwatch. Two of the three dials are for recording minutes and hours with the large sweep second hand recording seconds. Pushing the upper button starts and stops the stopwatch function. Pressing the lower resets everything to zero. The small bottome dial is the seconds hand for the watch, it always is moving.

your watch is chronograph,. and it is not in the picture. probably your problem is the second hand won,t move, it is because that the sub dial on the lower part it is the real second hand. the big second hand is for the stopwatch. the to sub dial on the upper sides of your watch. the upper button/bumper is to start and stop the stopwatch or the big second hand and the bottom bumper/button is to reset it. i hope this can solve the problem...

Hi, in my seamaster 2221.80 quartz most of the clicks of the seconds hand does not align with the second markers.is this normal & can it be re-calibrated. its a little out of character from an...

A competent watch repair technician can remove and reset the second hand on your watch so that it more precisely aligns with the seconds markers on your dial. However, it may not be possible to get the hand to perfectly align with all 60 markers around the dial. It is not uncommon in cheaper watches for this misalignment to occur, either because the dial has shifted slightly from its original placement on the movement (for glued-on dials) or because the second hand was not carefully aligned when it was initially installed. This problem is less common in watches where the watch dial is more precisely attached and aligned with the movement via screws.
To perform this service, the movement is typically removed from the watch, so this is not a 10-second job. Sometimes, the watch crystal is removed instead, but this may take more time and reduce the water resistant properties of the watch. Either way, if your Omega is still under warranty, this may be a valid claim for service.
Once the second hand is properly aligned, this problem should not re-occur.

Please clarify use of the 3 smaller dials and how the hands to each are set and reset

The small bottom dial is seconds counter and there is no option to set or reset it as it is part of the main gear train - it just counts the seconds. Top right dial is 1/10 seconds counter and runs only when the chronograph function is engaged. One full circle indicates 1 second. Top left dial is 30 minutes counter and runs only when the chronograph function is engaged. One full circle indicates 30 minutes, two circles = 1 hour. The big centre seconds hand is actually Chronograph hand and runs only when the chrono function is engaged. So, the chronograph hand and two top dials works all together when chrono function is engaged. To start chrono: push upper button once. To stop chrono: push upper button again (once). To return all hands to zero: push lower button once. There is another option: if you already stopped chrono by pushing upper button, but want to continue counting without returning hands to zero, push the upper button once more and the counting will start from the point where it stopped. You can repeat this as many as you wish - it will count on and on, till you will stop it and reset to zero. Fine tuning of chrono hands can be made by pulling the crown half way out and while leaving in this position pushing and holding one of the push buttons (which one - depends on movement caliber). Watch has an tachymeter function as well (big inner ring). Learn how to use it by browsing through my Tips and Tricks- it is explained there. Rate me, please.

I just bought a new Nixon "The Banks" watch and the dial in the lower right hand corner, I believe it's suppose to be the second hand, won't work.

The Banks has three different batteries in it for each dial. The second hand battery died on it. I had the same problem and just went to a watch store and they replaced the battery for me.

Cant set the second hand to move

The "second" hand on this watch is not actually a 'sweep' second hand, as on other watches.
This is a timer dial. ["Stopwatch 1/5 Second Hand"]
To start/stop this, use the top button (Button "A").
To reset this dial to 12 O'clock, use Button "B", after first stopping it with Button "A".
The "second" hand is the small dial at the 9 O'clock position.
In actuality, you 'could' start this and just not stop it...  Then it would function as a "large second hand". That would be up to the owner. (it might use more battery power though... ?)

Resetting stopwatch dials - Armani AR5331

When you reset the big seconds hand to zero, the hour and the minute hand are not engaged in this function, so, there is no fault with the watch movement.
Do as follows:
1) pull out crown and set the hour and minute hands at 6 o'clock (they must be lined perfectly in opposite directions)
2) push the crown in half way back (not completely)
3) push and hold the button at 2 o'clock (set the big seconds hand to zero) and release it when done
4) when big seconds hand is zeroed push the crown back in
5) pull the crown out again and set desired time
6) push the crown back in.
If all actions described do not work, you will have to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to refit chronograph hand as in this case it is out of balance (not pointed at exact mark).
