Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen.

My handle that raise and lowers the tripod broke I have a Ambico V-0550 Any suggesstions?

If the handle is plastic I would drill matching holes in the broken end, cut the head off a screw the same size and length mix some epoxy (JB weld) apply it to the screw and push it together.

How to put a camera on it

If it's a quick release tripod you need to remove the quick release plate (Usually a release lever to the side of the top of the tripod) and then fasten the plate securely to the camera and then the plate to the tripod. Older non-quick-release tripods have a knurled screw located below the flat area where the camera is attached. If the screw is missing, get a relacement from your local hardware store - 1/4" -20. (Find a way to keep the new one from getting lost.)

I am looking to find/purchase a quick release shoe bracket for an Ambico model V-0555 54'' tripod. If you have one or can please refer me to a website that does, I'd appreciate it. My e-mail address is...

On your website, there were scrolling messages about items related to tripods, parts , etc. One of them included a website that I went to and found the part. The website was www.tripodquickrelease.com

Thank you again for your help and please share with others.

I need the camera mount to use with my Ambico V-0540 tripod

T-mount is the correct term.  Ebay, if you go that direction has some.  The other alternative is B & H Photo Video.
