I didnt see the thread they were ytalking bout, but they are suggesting stting it up like the Nokia 2610. I would recommend posting this question again on the above site. Below is what I copied from there.
Hi I'm in Sydney and use Optus mms and wap with no problems. If you look in this thread under the topic Easy configure MMS. Follow the instructions to the Nokia site for the 2610 and you should get a text back to set up MMS and the internet. Good luck It worked fine for me.
YUO NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE SERVICE HAS THE RIGHT SETTINGS YOU CAN GET THEM FROM YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS MANUALY THOUGH BECAUSE THEY DONT SUPPORT CECT ONCE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT SETTINGS /GO TO SERVICE/WAPSETTINGS/SELECT SIM /EDIT PROFILE ENTER THE STTINGS AND ACTIVATE THE PROFILE ALSO GOOGLE AROUND A BIT AND TRY YOU TUBE
