Make sure the zone dampers are connected to the correct zone in the controller. Let me know what you find.

Can I manually open something to direct cool air into the vents of my 2000buik lesabre.. The air conditioner works I just need to open up a door or something.. I was told

If air is not coming out of your air conditioning vents when the system is on, the BLEND DOOR is not open. This isn't something you manually open, it is automatically opened by a vacuum motor (when it is working). If it is not opening properly, it is usually because a vacuum line has fallen off or broken under the dashboard, or there is a plenum vacuum leak somewhere, sufficient to reduce the vacuum to the air conditioning system that it cannot function properly.
If you hear a sucking/hissing sound under the dashboard, you can find the noise to find your vacuum leak.

I have a Honeywell EMM-3 Electronic MiniZone Panel and my thermostat is set at 78 degrees but the house is registering at 89 degrees and it won't cool down although the a/c has been on all day for...

Zoning, in the A/C world, refers to different areas of the house which may be cooled to different temperatures. Zoning is accomplished by closing/opening vents.
Zone 1, 2, 3 etc. do not have any particular meaning, except to indicate zone control flappers 1, 2, 3 etc. which are physically inside the ductwork which determines the zoned area.
Just because you have this fancy thermostat, does not mean that your house is actually zoned, but I am not to sure why such a thermostat would be purchased if it was not (unless it was free).
Zoning uses dampers. Is there air blowing out of the registers?
:o).

My central heating is turned on but not warm air is comming out of the vents

It may be zoned and the zones are not enabled or the fan may be gone in the unit. Read documentation, contact installer or call serviceperson.

Hi, You need to have a bypass installed that has a wieghted damper on it so that it will bypass the extra air when the other zones close...that also means that you need a duct sensor to shut down the comprassor to keep the coils from freezing up...it gets a bit complicated, but can be done...

If the truck has a dual zone temperature control in the center console then this is most likely your problem as alot of times when these go bad the think the driver side is too cold and turn the heat on to warm it up thus giving you warm air through the vents on the driver side.

2000 ford taurs a/c dont work it blows cold when i power up the compressor.its running 45 lbs on my gage on the low side.

Hi...
Perform the following basic Checks and Information
1. Check Drive Belts,If belt is intact proceed to the next step.
2. Check for Compressor Clutch Engagement - Turn the air conditioner to the "on" position and set controls to the coldest setting. Start the engine and allow to idle. Then open the hood and inspect the clutch at the front of the compressor, is it turning? "Engaged" if so, the system has enough refrigerant to activate. If the system is low on refrigerant it will not work properly. In this case an air conditioner recharge kit is needed to recharge the system. If the compressor clutch is not turning proceed to next step.
3. Inspect for Refrigerant Leaks
4. Check under dash panel and under hood power distribution center
5. Check Temperature Control Vents - The vents inside your car are controlled by a cable, electrical servo or vacuum servo. If the vent door is not functioning properly it will cause warm air from the heater to exit the vents. To check this start the car and allow the engine idle, next turn the blower motor speed on low, switch the temperature control from warm to cold while your ear is close to the vents. You should hear the door move inside the heater box as it swings from open to close. If not, inspect for a vacuum leak or a shorted motor in the servo, repair the leak or replace the servo motor.
Thanks
Smith

Thermostat shows error on unused zone

You will need to take the inside cover down on the front air conditioner. There is a control box mounted there, open the control box and you should see many dip switches on the face of the board. Make sure that Zone 1 and Zone 2 are selected (furnace as well if your furnace is fed through this thermostat). After making sure that the switches are set, turn off the thermostat and hold down the mode and zone buttons at the same time, turn the tstat back on. When EE appears on the face, release the buttons and see if everything works. If not, then I would say that you have a bad control unit in the air conditioner.
