Without modifying the main control board on an electronic control unit, this can not be done externally. It can be done internally but the expense to do the modifications would be as much as the unit cost to begin with. All of the work would have to done on the main board. The timer would have to initiate a 3.3V pulse to the main power on relay and bypass the remote functions.

My Fujitsu air con keep flashing operation, timer and economy .off the plug took out and on back still the same.took out the batery from remote and put back still the same..plss help me

It's asking you what mode you want to run your unit in. Do you want to run it in heating or cooling (operation), do you want to run it with economizer mode (economy), or do you want to run it with a timer setting (timer). Do cooling, no economizer, and no timer. This will make your unit run off off the setpoint you want. I.e. 72 degrees

Replaced timer in chloromatic esc 48 and does not advance

Get rid of the ESC 48 . They seem to be very unreliable unit and that's a common fault with timers. Buy a better brand Cheers

Can i put two valves on one station

You should be able to put two valves on one station. If it is too much for the timer either a fuse or a "virtual fuse" on the circuit will fail. Just turn the unit OFF, separate the two valves and turn unit back ON to reset "virtual fuse".
I am an irrigation contractor and we have many timers with doubled zones.

Will not heat just cold air and once it reaches 32 min left it stays there

Sorry for the troubles sounds like you have a bad timer since its not heat then the timer wont advance past a certain point. I would recommend you calling a qualified service technician come look at it and to replace the bad timer or you can do this yourself. You will need the model number off the dryer which will be on the back of the unit on the dash or inside the door opening take that number to your local appliance parts house so they can get you the proper timer. Now for installing it make sure you unplug the unit and then you will have to remove the back cover panel on the dash once removed slowly remove wire by wire replacing it to where its suppose to go on the new timer if you put a wire in the wrong spot you will fry the new timer once completed remove the old timer it should have 2 screws holding it to the dash and replace it with the new timer and put your cover back on and then plug it back up and set the timer to 60mins on the timed dry and tune it on and see if it Advances and heats. I hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

The timing knob on my dryer wouldn't turn, it would just spin without selecting a setting so I pulled the knob off and tried using pliers to turn the plastic shaft to select a setting. It worked a couple...

Both the timer and the knob is replaceable.
Locate the model number of the unit. Here's info on how to find it:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=+86673100&pathTaken=partSearch

You can get the timer and the knob from www.searspartsdirect.com or call 1-800-252-1698.
Once you have the part, remove the screws from the back of the control panel, removing the back cover. From there you should see the timer. It will either have one wiring harness or many wires attached to the timer. INSURE UNIT IS UNPLUGGED WITH NO POWER TO IT. If there is a harness, unplug the harness. The timer will be held in place either by a couple screws on the front of the control panel that is normally hidden by the knob AND/OR a screw INSIDE the control panel at the timer. There could also be a plastic tab holding the timer in place. Raise this tab and turn timer until it is free. Remove timer and put new timer in place. Fit harness onto timer.
If there are many wires attached to the old timer, I would hold the new timer in my hand and transfer the wires one-by-one to insure you get the right wires on the right terminal tab. Once wires are transferred, remove old timer and put new timer in place.
At this point. put new knob on the timer on the front of the control panel. Plug unit in, stay clear of exposed wiring, and test dryer. If it works, replace back cover and you are done.
If it doesn't work, further troubleshooting will be needed and Ill need the make and model number.
Hope this helps. Please take a minute to give a testimonial if I've help you.
Thanks, G

How can the dehumidifier be rigged to continue working while we are away?

mcdevito75 here, I relly don"t know, check for a timer on the unit itself. If not you can always buy a timer you put in the electric socket then plug in the unit to this timer and every day the unit will come on/off at the preset time. Timers available at hardware stores, Costco, Waldmart ETC.

timeout...I'm guessing you mean that the timer on off doesn't turn anything off. If this is a mechanical timer unit, the contacts are welded. If electronic, your relay is probably welded. Replace the item. If you do go inside, unplug the unit, and then find the relay or contact set and see if they are actually welded. Most units have a diagram on the back. Follow it through with a multitester.
