Problem for Toshiba SD-4000
I bought dvd hdd recorder
I bought dvd hdd recorder 3 days ago from lidl it is a targa DRH-5700X seriel no. e5809000859. Imust not have it
connected right as i cannot get anything from it on the television.Ihave the recorder conected through a hdmi cable to the lcd hd ready television.I cannot play a dvd disc.Can i watch one channel while recording another.Iget my signal from a chorus digital set top box in ireland.

i have a targa 5500x from lidl cant copy from hard drive to dvd as i have done this many times but the dvd drawer keeps opening telling me to put in blank dvd and i keep doing this but getting no where,

Use the scart cable to connect first, then in setup change settings to hdmi output. Scart and hdmi will not work simultaneously, you wil notice the screen turn green and distorted at scart channel on tv. If the channels are not broadcasted in HD, then using the scart connection may be wiser.
