Question about Audio Players & Recorders
When I turn on my MP4 player on it freezes on a blue screen with a hour glass, so I would like some help with recovering it.

I believe the problem lies in how quickly the battery life gets eaten by some types of music files. My MP4 player was an expensive Samsung one and the battery did not charge according to the instructions of the manual. It was brand new (a week old) and adequately charged when I first used it, then just died very suddenly without good cause or reason.
I discovered that it suddenly came back to life again a few days later once it had not been touched in any way. I then charged it as normal and everything fine and began to operate normally for several months.
Yesterday, I encountered the same problem again after six months. It just stopped playing and cannot charge it. I have checked for issues via device manager and nothing displays any technical problems or need an upgrade of driver : In fact, it does not recognise that the device is even plugged into the PC that most people have reported on here.
I have downloaded Java updates but this makes no difference at all. No amount of looking for driver updates/PC updates will resolve the problem (my PC fine) so have come to the conclusion that the battery in all MP4 players temperamentaland take time to cool down of their own accord after a few days to a week max.
I know it might sound crazy, yet this is what solved my initial problem that appears to be a recurrent one over time. If you haven't left in your PC to charge for more than 24 hours, spilt anything onto it or thrown it against a wall, then the MP4 is fine, it just needs a long time to be left alone for some days - Annoying as this is! - If the issue is still the same after a week without it, then contact the manufacturer to get it looked at or a replacement.
