Question about Tiger Kitchen Appliances - Others
I called the Tiger support and they are extremely nice and helpful. Fortunately, I live nearby their office and dropped of the unit for repair. They only charged $20 for same day pickup and if you ship to them the charge is $40 including return shipping. Here is the contact:

The sensor in the base of the unit has failed, this is a common event. Unfortunately I doubt if one will be able to source spare parts for this unit.
The most cost effective way to get this unit attended to is to contact Tiger direct, a local or head office, and then ask for a referral to an authorised servicing center. With the information in hand, then contact that agent, and ask for a "Quote" before proceeding with any repair, this way you can at least make an informed decision as to repair or replace.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
