Question about Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

My ematic E5 mp3 player is not working right.

When I go into my music and try to scroll down through the songs, the player exits out of music mode by itself.

When I go into my pictures and try to scroll through my pictures the thing won't scroll all the way through.

I've already dropped the player twice so that could be part of the problem.

Based on the problem that you have stated, the affected part of the player is the application. The application could became corrupted after quite sometime. You dropped the player twice, right? That could also be the reason for the application not to work correctly.

To resolve this problem, you need to send the player to the manufacturer and have them check the internal components and see if there are components that needs to be replaced. After checking the components, they need to re-install the application, software, firmware of the player.

Thank you and good luck!

How to upload songs from itunes onto my ematic mp3 player

Maybe the songs you want to get from itunes to your mp3 player are protected by apple drm, you need to change them to common mp3 format for playback on non-ipod device, here is a way about how to do it:

After having my ematic mp3 player plugged into my sons car stereo, it went blank after playing a couple of songs. I then reset it and charged it back up, because I thought it was that the battery was dead....

Never had that happen with my ematic mp3 player only had it about 6 months. Mine is the ematic 2GB Music/photo/video/voice mp3 player I purchased through walmart.com for $25 +TAX, no shipping since I did site-store which is what I do for all walmart.com purchases since packages i order seem to get lost after having left post office and being delivered to my house

I would also write your question on walmart.com under the exact item you have and maybe someone might have an answer there for it.

I know if you go under the item you have like electronic items, etc. at walmart.com they have an a question and answer area for the items just like this website. maybe give that a try.

Don't know of anything else to try sorry!

My ipod won't organize the music, I've tried putting it in different folders. No matter where I put them, they all go to the same file on the ipod which is all music. When I look into the artist, there's...

Your MP3 player (which is not an iPod, by the way) probably displays the "tags" in your music files. These are the artist, album and song titles that are embedded in the music files themselves, and not related to the folders in which you store them, or the file names.

You will need to use a music manager to look at these tags, and set them appropriately. Music managers include Windows Media Player, MediaMonkey, Winamp and others.

I'm trying to download music from media player into oracom digital portable music player. could you please assist?

  • **Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder; available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
  • --**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

How do you remove audio from the ematic 4bg mp3? i lost my manual and cant figure out how to remove music.

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete the files needed to operate your MP3 player Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

Cannot find music files on my ematic mp3

THE SONGS CANNOT BE SAVED AS A WHOLE FOLDER, ALSO YOU CANNOT SYNC MUSIC TO IT. HERE IS THE SOLUTION; FOLLOW CLOSELY AND YOUR EMATIC 4GB PLAYER WILL FOR SURE WORK.

1) LOCATE YOUR PLAYERS FILE FOLDERS
2) OPEN THE AUDIO FOLDER
3) LOCATE THE SONGS YOU WANT ADDED
4) RIGHT CLICK THE SONGS YOU WANT (ONE AT A TIME )
5) SCROLL DOWN TO COPY, LEFT CLICK ON COPY TO COPY THAT SONG
6) GO BACK TO YOUR AUDIO FOLDER
7) RIGHT CLICK IN THE AUDIO FOLDER
8) SCROLL DOWN TO PASTE, LEFT CLICK ON PASTE

YOU SHOULD SEE YOUR SELECTED SONGS APPEAR. IF YOU FOLLOW THESE DIRECTION YOU ARE FOR SURE TO BE LISTENING TO MUSIC.

YES IT IS A LONG PROCESS, BUT ITS WORTH IT IN THE END!! BESIDES ITS NOT A HI-TECH GADGET. WE BOUGHT IT AT A STEAL, SO LETS DO WHAT WE GOTTA DO TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT!! OVERALL ITS A GREAT PRODUCT.

Can't remove music

Go into settings, select mode, then select msc. When in this mode you can look at the player's drive, by going into my computer, then selecting the player. In this mode you can transfer music back and forth from computer to player, in both directions. MTP mode is only used with Microsoft Media Player. If you stick with msc mode, and browsing the unit as a drive, you can't go wrong.
