Question about Hampton Bay 52 In. White Huntington III Ceiling Fan

1 Answer

Poor air movement

I have installed two, Hampton Bay Gazebo II Plus, 52 inch ceiling fans on a front porch. The ceiling is recessed and approximately nine and a half feet above the porch floor. The fans are mounted with the standard downrod supplied with the fans. Even on high speed, you can hardly feel the air moving when standing under the fans. When both fans are running together, there is almost no air moving. Reversing the direction of one or both fans doesn't help. The two fans are located approximately six feet apart, center to center. Any ideas on how to get more air flow would be appreciated.

Mcdevito75 here, You say the fans are recessed into the ceiling are the fan blades blowing the air into this recess instead of outward. Also if your porch is an open porch the fans are competeing with the outside air and temerature. The only other thig to try is to lower thefans another foot.

WHAT TYPE OF REMOTE DO I USE FOR A HAMPTON BAY CARRIAGE HOUSE II 52 INCH CEILING FAN WITH LIGHT

If it was an add-on remote, then you probably can use any remote. If it came with a remote ,then you must find out what kind of receiver is in the fan.

We have a hampton bay ceiling fan model 54cvt. We cant figure out how to change the light bulb or change the direction of the blades. We dont have a manual for the fan.

This fan is also known as the Hampton Bay Covington 54 Ceiling Fan. You need to turn the globe anti clockwise until it comes out. The full instruction manual can be found here.
