Question about Bose & Wave& Music System
My system is about ten years old, and its from America. I've relocated to London, and now sometimes when I play a cd I get a whirring noise, and sometimes I get a disc error message.
I've phoned Bose, and because it is an American model, I would have to send it back to America, to fix it.
Sometimes it will play a cd, and sometimes it just produce the whirring noise, for the same cd. Any ideas?
Unfortunately your only option might be to deal with the mfg, unless you are handy with electronic repairs. It sounds like you maybe having an issue with possibly several components (i.e. Lens, Drive Motor, Main board) there just arn't any consumer accessories to correct the problems.
You could try a local repair facility that would work on Bose products they should be able to provide basic information on necessary repairs. Even though its an american model the parts should be similar.
Hope this helps.
