Question about Fisher Paykel EcoSmart GWL15

1 Answer

My fisher&paykel washing machine does not work, it looks like it's the fuse, it cost me lots to have someone fix it, but its only the fuse, if someone can help tell me where the fuse is.

Follow the power cord, gain access to the inside of rear panel. You will see the fuse attached to the the power board that plugin is attached to.

Your pressure value switch is malfunction. First thing you can try that is cheap to fix is to try clean the hose that connects to the outer tub. A lot of times there is algae develops after years of washing.

At this stage i can suggest that the inlet valve may be faulty & giving off this burning smell.open the control box & see if one of the 2 inlet valves look distorted or brown or burnt looking.I'm wondering if it's not filling very fast also, this could also be an indication of the valve.

Fisher and paykel smart drive 5.0 washing machine.

OK this is kind of an elementary question but have you checked you have power at the outlet?
To do this, plug in a small light or appliance that you know is working. If there is no power then check the supply fuse/circuit breaker. If there is power then the fault is in the machine (duh?).

To find this the circuit has to be checked by someone with the necessary equipment and experience, not something I would suggest an untrained person attempt.
I no this is not a lot of help but the best I can do from here.
Good Luck
Bob
