To Erase everything on the drive you can format it. To do this, plug it in, then go to 'my computer' Right click on the drive, and select 'format'. BE AWARE, THIS WILL COMPLETELY ERASE EVERYTHING ON THE DISK! So make sure that there is nothing that you want to keep on there.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My flash disc is unrecognized by the pc

Try inserting it into a different USB port, or try one on a different computer. If that doesn't work, you'll have to resort to formatting the disk to continue using this flash drive. (Formatting deletes all the data on the disk though).

I forgot my memorycard's password please help me.

Make sure you do not have your CAPS LOCK ON when you enter your password.

If you have forgotten completely, then the information currently stored on it is likely inaccessible.

You can always reformat the drive in order to use it again, but doing so will permanently erase all the data currently stored on it.

Please see the info at the following Sandisk Online Support link:

http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/99/kw/password/r_id/101834

Good luck and just comment back here on this page if you require further assistance.

Please do not forget to click on the 4 Thumbs Up rating icon if this was at all helpful.

Thank you.

I went to the Sandisk website and they actually have a bunch of how-to videos on there that will help you out with your problem: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1459 As for getting your information back, you would need special recovery software in order to do that. Here is a link that might be able to help you with that: http://www.download.com/VirtualLab/3000-2248_4-10642058.html
