Question about Xerox WorkCentre M123 Copier

My Xerox cpoier # 604P1837 is showing FaultCode # 062-380 How do I clear it & what does it mean?

I would think you could fix it by turning the machine off , disconnecting all the cables from the scanner and document feeder, then reconnecting them tightly. Turn back on, If not here is the info on the fault.
At the adjustment of CCD output after power on, CCD does not make a correct output which it should when it receives a specified amount of light.

Replace the Lamp Wire Harness ( PL 11.6).
Measure the voltage between the IIT/IPS PWB ( PL 11.3) P723-1 (+) and GND (-), and between P723-2 (+) and GND (-) (BSD 6.3 Flag 4).
The voltage is approx. +24VDC. Yes No Unanswered
Replace the IIT/IPS PWB ( PL 11.3).
Replace the Exposure Lamp ( PL 11.6). If the problem persists, replace the Lamp Ballast PWB ( PL 11.6). if the problem persists, replace the IIT/IPS PWB ( PL 11.3).
Check the connections of P/J700 and P/J710.
P/J700 and P/J710 are connected correctly. Yes No Unanswered
Connect P/J700 and P/J710.
Replace the CCD PWB ( PL 11.4). If the problem persists, replace the IIT/IPS PWB ( PL 11.3).

Do you have another kit you can take from another printer.
Switch the printer off.
Swap out the kit with the one from the other printer.
Turn it back on. If it clears the fault when the printer is ready put back the new kit

Control panel shows "H4"


This is a solution from the Xerox Support website (www.support.xerox.com) Give it a try and hopefully it resolves your problem. Take care & good luck.

Solution: Perform a Fault Reset 14
Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.

1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
2. Find the button below the word Auto.
3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto]

NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. If the lights do not go out, then repeat step 3 until they do. It may be necessary to increase or decrease the pace of the [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] sequence.

4. Press the [10's] key one time and the [1's] key four times to enter '14' in the LED Display, as if you were to make 14 copies.
5. Press the green [Start] button.
6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.

I get a problem FAULTCODE 15.004.45:59476


Hello,

Error 15,004.45 usually indicates that one or both of the halogen light bulbs in the drum heater has burned out. They are fairly inexpensive to replace, though you may need to have a Xerox certified technician perform the task if you are still under warranty. If you are daring and want to perform the work yourself, you can download the service manual for the 8200 series printers here:

J2 Error ? Xerox Pro 215


J2 means your drum needs to be replaced. The life of the drum is expired.

Printer problen


Low Fuser Temperature. Probably a blown heat lamp try reseting the H code Press CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE, CLEAR, EXPOSURE MODE. The display should go blank. Then enter 14 with the copy count keys and press START. If the machine does not turn off and back on by itself - then turn it Off and back on. See if the H code comes back. Tim
