Try going into the safe mode by pressing the F8 key when you boot the system.

    Steps:

    1. shut the system down completely by holding the power button on. (this will shut the system down leave it turned off for 2 minutes)

    2. Turn the power on and keep tapping the F8 key this will bring a black screen with few options, select safe mode using the up/down arrow key and hit enter.

    3. once you are logged on to safe mode in windows

then go to start --> all program --> accessories --> select system tool ---> select system restore.

    4. in system restore select restore my computer to an earlier time this will show you a calender double click on the previous date in the calender and that date should be bold in color then hit next , follow the screen to complete the system restore this will reboot the computer and you will get a message windows has restored successfully.

Then you are all set to go

Please write me if you need more help.

And dont forget to rate fixya.
