Question about Samsung DV448AEE Electric Dryer
Make sure that the lint screen is not clogged, and that the dryer has adequate venting.
Next pull out the dryer and look for kinks or squishing of the big rippled six inch exhaust hose. You can take it off by unscrewing the clamp tht holds it onto the dryer and then clean it out. It may be clogged. You can also go outside to the external vent and check it for a clog.
Another thought is that the WASHER is not spinning enough water out of the clothing so that the dryer gets very hot trying to dry them.
If this does not work, you need to call a repairman. Overheating in the dryer can cause big problems. Or you can call Samsung on 1–800–726–7864.
Thanks for using Fixya.
Good luck and have a nice day.
