By mistake, when removing the water to replace it, I turned the cap and it came off. realizing my mistake I replaced the cap, pressed the button and tried to pull it straight out per the instructions on...

the directions state To change the filter you would 1.) remove the cartridge cap (counterclockwise to a vertical position) and pull the filter out through the base grille. Directions state there will be water in the cartridge so some spilling may occur. 2.) remove the cartridge cap by sliding it off the end of the old cartridge. The cap will slide to the left or right. Do not discard the cap. 3.) Take the new cartridge out of the package and remove protective cover from O-rings. 4.) Slide the cartridge cap onto the new cartridge. 5.) With cartridge cap in the vertical position, push the new filter cartridge into the base grille until it stops. Rotate the cartridge cap clockwise to a horizontal position. Its the first part of doing this thats a real pain but after you get by the first instructions the replacement becomes easy if you have any further questions message me back Thanks again Rick

How do you replace the ink cartride in a hp 2175 all in one printer

1. Prepare the replacement cartridge by pressing down and back on the top of the protective plastic, then sliding the cartridge out.
2. Set both the cartridge and empty cartridge protector aside.
3. Turn on your printer and lift the access door until it locks into place. The print carriage will move to the center.
4. Once the print carriage has stopped moving, raise the latch to release the empty cartridge. 5. Remove the empty cartridge by pulling towards you. If you are replacing the tri-color cartridge and need to remove the black ink cartridge temporarily, use the empty cartridge protector to hold it. 6. Pull the cartridge latch towards you and press down until it snaps into place. 9. Close the access door. -------

Our xerox M118 showing an error"replace drum cartridge'can any one help me?Plizzz

Hello, Your Xerox has two cartridges - one is the drum cartridge and the other is a toner cartridge. Please check the following I've researched from your user guide:

Replacing the Drum Cartridge
The drum cartridge is a customer replaceable unit. After approximately 55,000 copies/
prints, the machine will display a warning message before the drum reaches the end of
life. Order a replacement cartridge now to insure continuous operation.

Country Part Number for the drum cartridge replacement
All countries 13R589

Removing the Old Drum Cartridge
1. Pull the front cover towards you to open it.
2. Open Tray 5 (bypass tray) if necessary, and then open Cover A while lifting up
the release lever.
3. Lift up the colored lever, and slide the drum cartridge out until you can lift the
handle on top of the cartridge.
4. Hold the handle and remove the cartridge from the machine.
NOTE: When replacing the drum cartridge, make sure that the new cartridge is the
correct one specified for the machine.

Recycling the Drum Cartridge
The drum cartridge is designed to be re-manufactured. To recycle used drum
cartridges, return them to Xerox in the original packaging. Return labels are included
with each new cartridge.

Inserting the New Drum Cartridge
1. Remove the new drum cartridge from the box.
2. Undo the sealing tape and carefully pull out in the direction of the arrow to
remove the black protective sheet from the cartridge.
3. Place the cartridge in position and, using the handle, slide it into the
machine until it clicks.
4. Pull out the cartridge tape completely without breaking it.
5. Push the cartridge again so that it is correctly placed.
6. Close Cover A until it latches and then close Tray 5 (bypass tray).
7. Close the front cover.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

How to replace toner cartridge on samsung ML-2010?

I've got the exact same printer. If you push it all the way in you should feel it click into place. If you don't it means, either the track that it slides in on is damaged, or you got the wrong replacement cartridge.

How to install toner

The cartridge that you have needs to be installed onto the top of the toner hopper first, which needs to be slide out of the copier first. Follow the directions inside the door panel for sliding the toner hopper out. Once this is done, place the new toner cartridge into the slots on top of the toner hopper & press down until you hear it "click" into position. Pull the release tape, this will also open the cover on the toner hopper while releasing the toner from the cartridge. Finally, push the toner hopper door FULLY closed, at the very end, you will press on the two thumb tabs on the hopper door and the cartridge will "pop up" for removal. Good luck & let me know how it goes.

The drum cartridge

Open the front door. Remove the toner cartridge and the drum is on the upper right. You have to open the right side door to safely remove it. but just a little squeeze on the lever and it slides out, slide the new one in until you feel it latch ( click) into place.

Not sure if you found this out yet.

The cartridge just slides out. When you lift the latch you will see the cartridge has lifted too. All you need to do is pull the cartridge toward you. It slides right out.
