I'm afraid that the high voltage would have burned out most if not all of the electronics in your microwave. It'll probably be the most cost effective to replace the microwave.

Check to see if the fuse went. If negative then something is wrong with the electronic pad for the unit.

WHAT WILL MAKE MY GE MICROWAVE WES1384SM2SS FUSE KEEP BLOWING I REPLACED IT ONCE AND AS SOON AS I OPEN THE DOOR IT BLEW AGAIN

The fuse is there to protect your home in case something has gone wrong inside your microwave. Since the fuse has blown twice, you can safely assume that there is something wrong inside. It may be fixable, it may not be economic to fix it. Impossible to troubleshoot electronics without the unit and test equipment.

Micro doesnt heat

The magnetron (the part that heats the food) may be bad or the circuitry to the magnetron may have burned out. Basically my advice is that if you have no electrical expertise, it isn't worth fixing. The magnetron if bad, costs almost as much as a new microwave. If you open it up (make sure it has been unplugged for a few hours and don't seen any obvious burnt parts (including a fuse), then most likely the magnetron is done and a new microwave is the way to go.

Let me know how this works out for you.

We bought model NNst4477s. It was delivered on Friday and used to defrost and also heat other food. It then simply lost all power. There is not even any visual display on the clock etc. The fuse is ok. ...

All microwaves have a fuse inside, usually behind the control panel. You need to know how to open the micro to access this fuse either by removing the control panel, or by removing the outer shell case. Must caution that there is a hi energy capacitor that holds a hi voltage charge and if you touch the wrong connections, you will get zapped. This charge does not go away just because you unplugged the micro. If you find the fuse to be bad (you must have a tester because you cannot see if it is bad), then you also need to assume that something else caused the fuse to go bad. Goodluck, MACGIVOR

All of a sudden, no power, no lights, NOTHING!

if the microwave is on the same circuit as the refrigerator, it's possible that the micro was turned on just as the refer compressor kicked on. i've seen that situation pop a fuse in microwaves many times - make sure you get a ceramic slo-blo fuse

My microwave doesnt work at all

If the micro is completly dead and the outlet is OK... check the main fuse inside the cover. Unplug unit, remove cover (screws in back) and check the fuse where the power cord comes in through the back.

I am not sure what region you are in but in the States it is usually a 15A fuse. REPLACE ONLY WITH EXACT FUSE. Most hardware stores have these for microwaves.
