SOURCE: how to convert from lp to ng
I converted a Sam's Club Members Mark grille last year and just did some research on the internet and found a numbered drill size chart that gave me the correct drill size to use on each burner(side, main and rear)for the proper BTU supply for the size or BTU rating for your burner. I drilled them, All has worked well! I know Ducane will tell you not to do that, but I think it is a legal issue. If you have a problem, they don't to get a letter from your lawyer.

SOURCE: Converting LP to NG
The install manual on the dacor web site insists that Natural Gas requires the nozzles be removed, that low pressure NG works with the large 'default size nozzles'. Have done the conversion, in Australia, for my own barbecue, worked ok
Gas is too dangerous to make mistakes with. All I can suggest if Dacor is difficult is take the pdf of the installation instructions, link in the first replies, and the barbecue to a local gasfitter/plumber and ask them to work on it. they will be able to do the calculations from the existing nozzle size, lpg pressure, ng pressure, and required BTU output, to put in correctr nozzles
Dacor Australia are much easier to deal with.

yesL contact your local propain provider and/or plumbing supply Co. They need to see the valve and they will let you if they can convert it or not. If not they will sell you an L.P. style valve.

I removed the jets and drilled them out, #54 is what I started with and then moved up from there to get a good flame( gas pressure may be diffrent in your area). I went to lowes and purchased the universal gas line for grills. Item #: 206469 from lowes, I removed the hoses from the valves, and proceeded to remove the regulator from the hose. After that, i used a 1/4" npt coupling, and a 1/4/" NPT to 3/8" Flare fitting( fits to hose).
I drilled a hole in the brace that is under the clamshell(it says UP) that way I had a place to relive stress from the hoses. I threaded the Coupler to the Y then threaded the Flare fitting thru the sheet metal and then the coupling. This was an easy mod minus the garage in disarray, my precision calipers on loan, and 3 trips to the hardware store. The connection that goes to the house is a 3/8" NPT Female, my house has 1/2" pipe, The one wasted trip to the store is because i didnt bring the fitting with me to the store and assumed the size was 1/2 to 3/4(Rookie Mistake).
It was 35 degrees when I finished this mod, and on high for all 3 burners, I got it to 675F in a hurry. the needle was still creepin up, but that is when I said that was good enough for me.
I used my lathe to drill out the jets, ksware is correct with how easy the jets break. I broke the one in the side burner. I will make another one when I get an hour or two. Good luck to you and happy grilling.
