How do I clean the bobbin housing from all the fluff

A soft brush like a makeup brush will clear out the excess fluff. Remove bobbin case first. Or a can of pressurised air as used on computers.

My Rooma 500 series, when I press the start button to sounds like it wants to move forward and the sings a song and doesn't move

I agree with the previous poster, every time you run Romba, you have to empty out the dirt compartment, take the beater brushes off and pull the hair, lint and thread off the brushes (if you use a cat or dog brush this works fantastically) and remove the lint that's wrapped around the ends of the beater brushes. Every other time, you need to remove the thread and hair wrapped around the rotating brush (sometimes you need to remove the Phillips head screw holding this on and really clean it out). Finally the rolling ball wheel needs to be popped out using a narrow, small screwdriver and all the stuff trapped in there removed.

My machine will not sew. New not used but a few years old. once thread goes down to bobbin it locks and you can hear the clutch disengage. without thread you can run the needle at full speed then it

There may be a small bit of thread or lint caught somewhere in the bobbin case or bobbin holder. Brush lint away from the feed dog area, being careful not to brush lint into the workings of your machine. If you have the manual, look up how to clean lint from the bobbin. If you don't have the manual, try just taking the hook out, if possible. Run a clean toothpick around the housing and then use a clean small brush to brush out any lint or thread pieces. Put one drop of sewing machine oil on the hook of the bobbin housing. Then use a thread to "floss" your bobbin case. Run a thread through the slot and wiggle back and forth to loosen any caught thread bits. Good luck. ps If this doesn't work, repeat. Sometimes after you turn the hand wheel a bit, another piece of thread or lint will work loose and can be cleaned.

Heating up but not drying clothes

Your vent could be clogged with lint and debris. First remove the lint filter and clean the visible lint. Then run it under warm water and use a soft brush to gently scrub to remove any chemicals from softeners that may be on the filter. While the filter is drying completely, use a dryer brush (available at most stores that carry appliance accessories) and clean out the vent as far as the brush will reach. Next go to where the vent exits your building, lift the flap and clean that area as well.
What happens is that lint builds up over time. The heat and moisture causes it to matt up and it can't be blown out by the mild wind force created by the dryer. The only way to get the matted material out is to clean with a brush and remove it.
I hope this helps you. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice.

Lint and dirt beneath the filter. I clean the filter after each load, however there is a lot of lint and dirt beneath the filter. I can't reach it with the vaccuum hose and the lint brush doesn't catch...

You can find dryer cleaning kits that contain different size and shape brushes at different variety stores. I bought mine from Fuller Brush. Ross stores also carry the cleaning kits. You'll be amazed at the "stuff" that comes out when you use these brushes. The handles are long enough to go waaaaay down in the exhaust hose to loosen and remove the lint. I also like to go to the outside exit and clean with the brushes. There is a lot of build up in that area also.
Once you've brushed out as much as you can, then you can vacuum and get all the gunk you loosened as you were cleaning.
I hope these suggestions help. If so, please let Fixya know by rating my solutions.
Good luck!

How do I clean my machine?

Start by removing the bobbin cover/throat plate. Using the brush that should have come with your machine, make swift upward strokes to coax all dust and lint out of the bobbin case and feed dogs. If you have a manual showing how to remove the bobbin case, remove it. If you don't have a manual, make sure you know EXACTLY how the case was originally in the machine because they can be the deuce to replace.
With bobbin case removed, again use quick strokes with your machine brush to clean out the lint. You may use a vacuum to remove the deep down lint. If you have the attachments that are small and made for cleaning keyboards etc, use one of them to gently probe into the machine for a deep cleaning. You may also use a cotton swab. Turn your handwheel toward you and wipe dust and lint from any moving parts. You may put a small amount of macine oil on a swab after removing dust. This will help to oil moving parts that are expose. DO NOT attempt to oil any hidden parts.
After cleaning the inside and bobbin case, use your brush or a clean swab and gently check the thread take up leaver and the tension discs.Remove lint and debris but do not oil this area.
This should take care of it and your machine should purr with gratitude!
