Question about Frigidaire FEQ332E Electric Dryer
Have a FEQ1442ES1 Frigidaire dryer. We had an electrical storm the other night which resulted in a close hit to the house. I lost two TV's and the dryer ( maybe ). not enough of a hit to trip any breakers. The dryer is getting power ok. the drum light is on and I have checked and all the power wires seem to be ok. Black power wire to motor is hot. Red power wire to panel is hot. Orange/to Peach power wire to panel is hot. However I'm not getting any power on the control panel. None of the light are working, so I cant get any trouble codes. Any suggestions?
If you have power going into the control but it does not illuminate or respond the control will need to be replaced. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/dryerconsole.html These boards are very sensitive to power surges and are not repairable, they must be replaced.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, I appreciate your post!
From my understanding you want to remove the drum out of your Frigidaire dryer. These complex parts do require precision and patience, therefore when replacing the exchange such components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. One must be very careful as these replacements can lead to potential harm. -Matt

Hi - From what you have described the unit could possibly have a communication problem with the control board. However, if the unit is producing heat but will not complete cycle please confirmed that the door is closing properly. If it is not, the unit could possibly have a defective door switch or cord/wiring. Either, or, could be faulty at this time. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately since this is not a typical DIY job.
