Maybe the best thing is to contact Serif & see if they will allow you a free download of digital copy of this software. I purchase Serif software online at their site. I purchased selectively but only when they have 50% off prices, had no tech. problems in downloading from their site. Do not receive discs though doing it this way. But I backup all downloaded data at least to a few drives.
Boot up the Sylvania scrapbook by pushing the manual switch below the screen. Push the F9 key to turn on the Wi-Fi on the device.

Select the little wireless icon in the toolbar at the bottom; it looks like a small computer. Choose the "Wireless Information" tab. This will show the online status of the device, as in whether it has connected to the Internet. If you have checked the box beside this option, this tab also notifies you when new networks are available. If the status shows that you have connected, skip to Step 6.
You may need to add your wireless router manually in the setup. Do this by choosing, "Add New." Obtain the necessary setup information from your wireless Internet provider. If you have an encrypted network, you will need to fill in that information about your router.
To configure the wireless setup further, click on the name of the wireless network. Click on "Advanced Settings" and adjust your connection choices; this tab determines the order of connection if there is more than one network available. Another important setting on this tab is the "Allow Windows to configure my wireless settings" option. Check that box.
Click the "Internet Explorer" icon on the desktop. If you are online, you will pull up the Google homepage.
Download the patch here http://www.serif.com/downloads.asp
Scroll down about half way to Digital Scrapbook and click download button on the right.
Save it to your desktop then doubleclick it to install when downloaded.
Hopefully this will fix most or all of your problems with this SW
hi This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities 1. File is corrupt, bad, or missing 2. File is not designed for your version of Windows. 3. File is a virus, worm, or other malware file 4. Hardware incompatibility i suspect your problem to be /2or4 .silly question does it give your particular windows as one of the designates for your program.if there is hard ware incompatability you could try if you have vista orwindows7 to make you program compatable. hope this helps.
When you say every time you download some files and if it says UNKNOWN. Then i would say the ID3 TAGS could be an issue. This issue occurs when information in a track's
ID3 tag is missing or incorrect. ID3 tags allows information such as the title, artist, album, track number,
or other information about the file to be stored in the file itself.
In order to fix this up. Kindly follow any of these steps..
1. Open Windows Media Player. 2. Under Library, look for the file to be edited. 3. Right-click the file, then select Advanced Tag Editor. 4. Enter the proper data for the fields available (i.e., Title of the track, Artist Name, Album Name, Genre, Track number, etc.) 5. Click Apply then OK.
Using Windows Explorer 1. Look for the location of the file. 2. Right-click on the file, then select Properties. 3. Click the Summary tab. 4. Click the Advanced >> button. 5. Look for the information you want to edit under Property. 6. Click the space under Value to edit the information. 7. Click Apply then OK.
