When I insert the USB into the port, the light flashes then goes off and it seems that it is not recognized..

Try a friend's computer or another computer that can read your files. If it doesn't work, then it's a bad pen drive. It should come onto the desktop of any device as an icon.....double click it to open of course.

320GB Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Silver Edition Desktop Hard Drive

Some usb drives - i.e pen drives - bring up the same message when they are inserted into a usb port. Windows usually installs the necessary software from within your computer. Other pen-drives are plug and play. Much depends on the operating system you have and the age of the usb pen.
It's probably just a question of getting updated drivers for your desktop hard drive. Right-click on the 'my computer' icon. Choose 'properties' Then choose 'device manager' or 'hardware'. Locate where your desktop hard drive is listed and open it. Then choose 'update driver'. Your computer should then search itself for updated drivers (which it won't find..) but it should also ask you if it can access the internet to search for drivers.
Alternatively, go to a website where you can download drivers yourself. Try
Be aware that your desktop hard drive is now quite old. It won't last forever .. If you've got important stuff on it consider buying a new desktop hard drive and transferring everything to the new one.

My problem is when to introduce pen driveinto the computer? In the beginning or after letter is typed and to be pasted? 3.3.11 ...

> in the beginning, or after letter is typed ?

I would insert the pen-drive at the start, to be sure that it can be recognized, _before_ starting to type the document. Then, it will "ready" when I use "Save As".

I 32 gb pendriver data is not appearing in any other system

Other computer does not recognize the storage portion of your Pen Drive because there's a possibility that your pen drive is formatted as FAT32.

Not all computers can recognize FAT32. Your pen drive should be formatted as NTFS. Since this is an MP3 player, you may need to contact the reseller or manufacturer to verify this or to see if there's any known issues with the pen drive and other computer operating systems.

Thank you and good luck!

If this is a U3 Sandisk USB stick drive you can usually use the launcher installer to backup the contents if it is still physically working.
Otherwise there are a few websites that will offer a recovery application

After cleaning my computer, my installation for this camera was wiped-out. I need to upload pictures without the installation CD (which is gone).

Please set the "USB Connect" option in the Menu of the Camera to "Mass Storage" option.
Steps to go to USB Connect option:
Press Menu button and select Setup option.
Then select the Setup 2 and then the USB Connect option

Then connect the Camera to the Computer and the Camera will be recognized as a removable device in "My Computer".

The Computer recognizes the Camera as a Removable device just like a Pen Drive. You can access the files in the Camera in the same way you access the files in the Pen Drive.

Then copy the files and paste them to a desired location on the Hard drive of the Computer.

If this does not work, then you may select the "PTP" option and Pictbridge option before connecting the Camera to the Computer to check if they work.

Please use the supplied USB cable to connect the Camera to the Computer.
