Question about Cameras

1 Answer

Tried to doen load my pictures from my Kodak EasyShare C190 to my iPhotoz. It comes up saying I can not import the photos. I took some video, but it is coming up blank frames. Not sure how to access the videos so it downloads as well. I can't even highlight the pictures and get them loaded. Do I have to deleat the video in order to keep the pictures or can I get it all transfered?

Base from the description of your problem it seems that your Kodak easy share software has some problem with it, you can uninstall and reinstall that software from your computer to correct the problem but if you have a memory card reader where you can put the memory card of your camera to your computer that will be much easier for you to transfer all the files including the video and pictures that you have taken using the camera.

Haven't had to down load any software to my computer for the camera. Not sure what to comment about your remark. I've never had problems down loading just the pictures. But, as I said, the video section remains blank and will not accept the pictures when I high lite them and try down loading.

    Sorry, still confused.

Ok thank you for correcting, so if that's the case connect the camera on a different USB port and while its connected restart the computer and then once it back check if you can now transfer all the pictures and videos to your computer.

Kodak C190 camera. I moved my pics from my SD card to my computer. Then tried to transfer them back..after many tries, they are back on my SD card. I can view them by putting the SD card in my laptop. When...

This should do it for you: Insert the SD card into your laptop or computer. In the SD card go to "New Folder" name that folder "DCIM" in the "DCIM" folder create a new folder. This one you will name "101KC190" (I'm pretty sure you have the Kodak Easyshare 190, correct?) Now, transfer all of your pictures into "101KC190." Insert the SD into your camera and it should work. email me if you need to kylejwoody@hotmail.com

I have a Kodak Easyshare C190 camera and I want to print the date & time on the photos. Can this be done. If so, how?

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I want to know if kodak easy share c190 have video with voice

The Kodak C190 records video with audio. When you playback on your camera you will not hear audio, as there is no speaker. When you view the video on your computer you will hear the audio (provided you have speakers :-) )
Hope this helps.

I'm having Kodak C190 digital camera. I'm facing certain problems which are as follows:- 1. My camera is not able to capture photo of moon even in night mode. it becomes totally blurt. 2. which one of them...

Pictures of the moon require a tripod. Night mode is a good starting place. After taking a test picture, if the moon seems too bright, you need to set the "exposure compensation" to the next lower number. Take another test photo and adjust as necessary one way or another. After you get a successful photo, you will need to crop it a lot to get the moon large enough.

My Kodak easyshare c190 won't turn on, it just

Are you using alkaline batteries? I had the same problem -- my camera cut out after just a few pictures and when I tested the batteries they were practically full. But alkaline batteries, even 'super-heavy-duty' ones, aren't powerful enough for this job. You need better, preferable rechargeable batteries.

Why won't some of my photos transfer to the picture files? These photos are treated as if they are duplicates which they aren't.

I spoke to someone on the IM chat at the kodak website, and took me through the steps that seems to get around that problem, if its a kodak c913. they are; open the easyshare software. connect your camera. if a transfer window opens automatically, close it. in the easyshare software window open the 'add picture button'. then select the folder with the name of your camera 'kodak c913'. all your pictures should load as if it would through the automatic transfer window, select whatever pictures you want to add, clock add pictures, then done, and it doesnt come up with the error message of the software believing there is duplicates.
