Re: Part computer image
I think the problem is that you have set the projector as an extension of your desktop. you need to use it as a copy. You might need to go to desktop properties->settings and uncheck the box which tells about extending desktop to monitor. Connect the projector to the laptop, and press <Fn> in combination with one of your Function Keys (F1-F12). Probably the correct combination is <Fn>+F8, if not, just try the other keys. There should be one or another image/text on the key of which action is assigned to the key.

Hi you need to check the cable to see if it is faulty you can do so by trying another cable or by trying that cable on another computer, you need to check the USB port also, try to connect using another USB port.
Ok what's happening is that you have it set up as an extension of your desktop, you need to mirror the displays. when your projector is plugged in and it is showing only the desktop background, open "System Preferences," click "Displays," click "Positioning" and check the box that says "Mirror Displays." This should do the trick.
I have 2200MP projector that when you turn it on,it clicks about 8 to 10 times and then the power seams to turn on, but the lamp light light comes on and nothing lights up. it will shut down after that, with the green light still flashing. What could be the problem? Roger
One problem may be that you must tell the PC to send the signal to the external monitor. Usually, if you hold down the function button and hit the F5 key you will see several options on the screen. (Other laptops use different function keys. Look for the one that shows two tv screens. You want the option which shows the laptop and the external monitor.) To advance between options, you hit the F5 button again and it moves over to the next option.
My computer needs me to lower the resolution on the laptop in order to send the signal to the projector. If you also need to do that, you can do it in Control Panel, Display, and Settings, and lower the resolution on screen number 1.
Doing both of these things should work.
Also, confirm that it is finding signals by hooking it to a DVD or video and see if it finds the signal through one of the other ports.
