I have a 1997 dodge dakota pickup withan am/fm stereo radio with cassette tape player. It ran fine but one day just went dead. it left a lighted green dash mark with no operations at all. I checked the fuse on the left side of dash and that was fine. I think its a short ; but a wiring problem none the less so I need a diagram of where the wires go?? Unless you have some better idea...HELP me please!!!!
For a wiring diagram go to an auto parts store and get a repair manual, about $15-18. Or just go and get an aftermarket stereo at Best Buy (or wherever). They will have what you need to install it. The sound will be MUCH better.

Need help finding parts for a marine radio I bought at a rummage sale, It is a Sea Worthy,Sea9504 AM/FM cd player. Just have the radio, need wiring harness, and a antenna .Don't know what else i need? Don't want to buy another one. Have speakers to. Besides E-Bay taking a chance that the parts might work. Went to sites on the internet.Do you know where i can get these parts cheap,If you could help me.looking to purchurse by check not by credit card.
there is a problem in the tape drive - possibly a bad belt- thats why the cassette adapter keeps ejecting itself- most add on xm tuners have the ability to broadcast its signal wirelessly-you press the menu button then turn the tuner to select the menu option that you want then press on the tuner control again to choose broadcast (fm signal and which channel you want to broadcast to the factory radio-try www.xmradio.com for more detailed info
Well, I finally just broke down, went out and purchased a brand new am/fm/cassette player. These type stereo decks are kind of scarce now -a-days. It was reasonably priced and hope it will last longer than the old Phase Linear PCR4500.
Thanks for sharing and caring.
P.S. The new rig is a completely different name manufacturer.
