Generic problem for all Flat Panel Televisions

TV just starting turning on and off on its own

posted by staceylorson on Apr 23, 2008

I am not sure why this is happening. Never had a problem before. I have a 20" Magnavox Flat Screen. Model # : 20MS3442/17 No matter what I do it turns on and off constantly. Only way to stop it is unplug it. What can I do myself to fix this without paying thru the nose with a repair guy?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank You..

Try taking out the battery to the remote. If this doesn't fix it, pay the repair guy. If it does, replace the remote.
